We usually meet in person on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Murton Park, Murton Lane, York YO19 5UF. See below for the dates and schedule.
We also hold weekly Zoom meetings every Wednesday evening at 19.00. New members are very welcome to join us: to obtain a meeting link please e-mail secretary@yorks-guild-wsd.org.uk and explain that you would like to join a meeting as a visitor. All Zoom meetings are being recorded and will be made available in our Members’ Area of the website to watch later, should you not be able to attend on the given date. See below for the dates of confirmed speakers. Further updates to the schedule will be circulated by email.
Occasional workshops with outside tutors are held in addition to the skill share days, see below, and the guild has an annual residential weekend, usually towards the end of May at Cober Hill, Scarborough.
For skill share meetings, please bring along whatever you are currently working on. During the course of the skill share session/day, while you work on your own project, there is plenty of opportunity to learn from fellow guild members as they work on their own projects too.
PLEASE NOTE: The schedules are subject to change at any time.
